Biogas Science 2014

The first deadline for submitting your abstract for oral or poster contribution ends on the 28th of February 2014. The call for abstracts will be extended until the 14th of March 2014. The abstract should comprise around 500 words explaining your aim and some results of your scientific work. Relate your abstract to one of the following topics of biogas science:

  • Substrates in AD
  • Gas Technology
  • Process Technology
  • Microbiology
  • Life Cycle Assessment
  • Data Preparation

After submission your abstract will be sent to members of the scientific committee for review. Selected papers may also be published in a peer-reviewed journal to commemorate and document the conference. Additionally, a book on biogas science and technology will be published as part of "Advances in Biochemical Engineering/Biotechnology".

Biogas Science 2014 – international, scientific conference on anaerobic digestion

The Biogas science 2014 conference provides a platform for scientific exchange of knowledge concerning substrates, microbiology and process technology within the biogas area. The conference will focus on the economic and ecological framework as well as on resources and applications. The scientific programme will include plenary sessions and parallel sessions with invited lecturers and contributed papers. Scientific results will also be presented in poster sessions.

The conference will take place in the remarkable venue of the Schönbrunn Palace from the 26th to the 30th October 2014.

Conference: 26th to 30th October 2014

Call for Abstracts: by 28th February 2014 (1st deadline), extended until 14th March 2014

Early bird registration until 31st July 2014

Late registration: 1st August 2014 and later
